2010-2011   GEORGIA LEADERSHIP TRAINING   (GLT)

MANDATORY FOR ALL-STATE HONORS

Dates: Friday – August 6, 2010 –General Session - 9:30 AM  -  5:00 PM

            Friday – August 6, 2010 – COA & Budget Meeting  - 7:00 PM

            Saturday – August 7, 2010 - 9:00 AM till

            Sunday – August 8, 2010 – 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM (Approx.) 

Location:  Ramada Plaza, 108 First Street, Macon, Georgia

The GLT is conducted by the Department to orient and familiarize leaders at all levels to VFW National and Department policies, procedures and requirements.  The program will consist of audio, visual and individual presentations.  There will be an array of subjects such as membership, VFW programs, duties and responsibilities of Post and District Commanders, Quartermasters, Trustees, Disciplinary Actions, and Parliamentary Procedures.

All Chairmen are encouraged to attend.   GLT WILL BE MANDATORY FOR POST COMMANDERS AND POST QUARTERMASTERS TO MAKE ALL-STATE TEAM!

* MANDATORY ATTENDANCE FOR COUNCIL OF ADMINISTRATION MEMBERS

   A/Q will reserve COA rooms. 

·         For Rooming Reservation Call Ramada Plaza at 478-746-1461 and ask for the VFW Room Rates.
