Please find attached for distribution:
· District Election Package*
· Post Convention Registration/Election Report Package**
*District Commanders that have access may also download the form in a fillable PDF format at the “District Query” page of memstats.
**Post Election Reports will be mailed to the Quartermaster of each Post in the “National Convention Registration/Election Report” mailing on Friday, March 5, 2010. The Men’s Auxiliary Election Report will also accompany this Post mailing. A PDF version of the Post Election/Convention Package has been made available to you for back-up purposes, please use this package only as a back-up and do not mass distribute. It is our belief that a mass redistribution of the election report contributes to the multiple copies a post sends to National HQ.
· Election reports processed through the “Online” reporting system will be emailed to you weekly.
· Election reports received via regular mail or fax will be processed as received, then sorted. We will scan and email theses reports as time permits; our goal is to do this weekly.
· Election Reports received that are not properly filled out will not be accepted and returned to you via email or fax with deficiencies noted.
· Weekly, starting May 1, 2010, we will provide a list of those Posts who have failed to submit a properly completed Election Report.
· We have available a report of “officers for administrative year 20XX”. The report contains: District #, Post #, Position, Name, Address, Phone and Email. This report is great for exporting into a Department Roster or current mailing list. It is available on request anytime during the year.
